RN, Nurse Lead - Obstetrics Acute Care, Full-time, Night Shift

Job Summary
Provide unit-based leadership in obstetrics acute care by supervising nursing and ancillary personnel, directing care plan revisions, and managing staffing based on patient acuity. Initiate team conferences, make rounds to assess patient needs, and resolve operational or patient care issues while ensuring compliance with Joint Commission safety goals. Develop strategies to improve quality of care and customer satisfaction, coach staff performance, and directly participate in hiring and termination decisions. Maintain equipment and department cleanliness, monitor staffing costs within budget, and facilitate staff development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Five years' technical experience
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- S.T.A.B.L.E Certification (STABLE)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Five years' technical experience
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification
