RN, Nurse Lead - Obstetrics Acute Care, Full-time, Night Shift

Provide unit-based leadership by supervising nursing and ancillary personnel, directing care plans through team conferences, and managing staffing based on patient acuity and skill mix. Ensure cost-effective, safe patient care while fostering a patient-centered environment that addresses cultural diversity and personal needs. Initiate and revise care plans, resolve operational issues, and implement quality improvement initiatives through Performance Improvement Teams. Maintain compliance with Joint Commission Patient Safety Goals and departmental policies. Manage staffing costs within budget, minimize overtime, and handle performance evaluations, coaching, and hiring/termination decisions for unit employees. Coordinate equipment maintenance and facility services to ensure safe operational states.
