RN, Nurse Lead - ICU, Full-Time, Day Shift

Job Summary
Provide unit-based leadership by supervising nursing and ancillary personnel, directing care plans through team conferences, and managing staffing based on patient acuity and skill mix. Initiate individual and team conferences to revise care plans, solicit feedback on nursing services, and implement systems to improve patient and family-centered care. Ensure compliance with Patient Safety Goals, participate in Performance Improvement Teams, and investigate operational issues while recommending policy changes. Manage staff performance through coaching, discipline, and hiring/termination decisions, instruct new personnel, and maintain department equipment and cleanliness within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Five years' technical experience
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- E-Verify participation and understanding of Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Five years' technical experience
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification
