RN, Nurse Lead - ICU, Full-Time, Day Shift

Provide unit-based leadership in the development and provision of clinical services, supervising and directing assigned nursing and ancillary personnel. Initiate and coordinate individual and team conferences to revise care plans, making rounds to overview patient needs and solicit feedback on quality of nursing services. Manage staffing requirements based on patient acuity, assign personnel to patients and activities, and arrange relief for meals and breaks. Ensure compliance with Patient Safety Goals, participate in Performance Improvement Teams, and investigate or resolve patient care and operational issues. Recommend policy changes, evaluate employee performance, coach personnel, and directly participate in hiring and termination decisions. Maintain department equipment, ensure cleanliness, and keep staffing costs within targeted budget while minimizing overtime.
