Job Summary
RN Lead for ICU providing unit-based leadership and supervision of nursing and ancillary staff under the Nurse Manager/Director, ensuring high-quality patient care, safety, and optimal patient experiences. Responsibilities include coordinating care plans, conducting rounds, fostering patient- and family-centered care, guiding performance improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission standards, managing staffing based on acuity, coaching personnel, hiring decisions, and ensuring department safety and equipment readiness. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, RN licensure in California, and supervisory experience; Master's preferred. Day shift, full-time position based in Montebello/Los Angeles area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- RN licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS): Required
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills: Required
