Job Summary
Unit-based nursing leadership in ICU; collaborates with the Nurse Manager/Director and physicians to supervise and direct nursing and ancillary staff, ensuring cost-effective, professional care with high patient satisfaction and patient safety. Delivers ongoing patient-care planning, rounds to assess needs, initiates and revises care plans with the health team, and fosters patient- and family-centered care while pursuing continuous quality improvement and adherence to safety and clinical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS): Required
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills: Required
