Job Summary
RN Lead in ICU provides unit-based leadership in collaboration with Nurse Manager/Director, supervising nursing and ancillary personnel, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality patient care, patient safety, and ongoing quality improvement. Responsibilities include rounds, coordinating care plans with health-team members and families, addressing patient care issues, driving patient-family centered care, implementing systems to improve patient experience, and participating in performance improvement initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in nursing (or equivalent), RN licensure in the state of practice, BLS, HLFS, NIHSS certification, and demonstrated supervisory experience. The role emphasizes staff management, compliance with Joint Commission standards, patient safety, and ongoing department operations, with vaccination as a condition of employment and E-Verify participation. Master’s degree and additional certifications are preferred. Location: Alhambra, CA (US); full-time, day shift.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AH policy
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
