Job Summary
RN Lead in the ER with night shift supervision and unit-based leadership. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff to supervise nursing and ancillary personnel, ensure safe, cost-effective care, and improve patient experience. Provides and coordinates care plans, leads conferences with health team members and families, monitors performance, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, and fosters patient- and family-centered care while working to optimize satisfaction and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- RN licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- HLFS: Required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS): Required
- ACLS: Required
- PALS: Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification: Required
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills: Required
