Provide evidence-based nursing care consistent with interprofessional plans and school policies while acting as a student and family advocate. Perform point of care testing, document nursing care and teaching, and compile accurate reports. Assess student and family needs to identify diagnoses, develop individualized health care and emergency action plans, and evaluate progress toward goals. Collaborate with the health care team and school district to ensure continuity of care, delegate to unlicensed staff, and engage in ongoing improvement activities. Work 32 hours Monday through Thursday from 7:30am to 4pm in a part-time role at Widdicomb South in Grand Rapids.
