Job Summary
RN – NOC shift, full-time position at Oakwood Gardens Care Center in Fresno, CA. Responsibilities include supervising day-to-day nursing activities, assisting the DON/ADON with implementing nursing policies and procedures, participating in quality assurance and audits, completing timely documentation and evaluations, coordinating nursing services with other departments, providing direct nursing care as needed, admitting/transferring/discharging residents, conducting daily rounds, reviewing nursing notes and care plans for resident-focused care, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, supporting staff development, and promoting infection control, safety, HIPAA compliance, PPE usage, and emergency procedures. Requires a California RN license, nursing degree, and CPR certification; 2+ years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred; strong leadership and communication skills; familiarity with SNF regulations and PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- CPR certification desired but not required maybe; (provided by description: CPR certification listed)
