Job Summary
The RN - IMCU (Night shift) delivers patient-centered care in the IMCU by applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient assessments, administering prescribed medications, monitoring for adverse effects, assisting with procedures, developing and evaluating individualized care plans, participating in life-saving interventions (CPR/code team), providing patient and family education, adhering to infection control standards, monitoring medical equipment, ensuring patient safety, and engaging in performance improvement initiatives. Requires RN licensure (state or compact) and Basic Life Support; ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred. 0-2 years of acute care nursing experience or student clinical rotations are required.”,
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
