Job Summary
Perform administrative duties including completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting. Review shift staffing to ensure every resident has an assigned nurse or CNA, adjust PPD staffing as required, and make rounds throughout the facility at shift start and end. Replace call-offs received during the shift and communicate all events, incidents, and resident concerns to the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing. Assist in developing and implementing corrective actions when appropriate. Requires a current, unencumbered, active RN license and minimum two years of supervision experience in long-term care. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., with no weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state or compact state
- Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Supervisor in long-term care or healthcare related facilities
Desired Qualifications
- Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations preferred
