Job Summary
The LTC RN (Registered Nurse) will provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process, collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care, and may serve as charge nurse. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, care planning, implementation of nursing interventions, ensuring safe administration of care, and adherence to nursing standards and ethics. Position requires coordination of resident care, education, and supervision of nursing staff as appropriate, with emphasis on quality care in a Christian, not-for-profit long-term care setting. Night shifts (7pm–7am) with rotating weekends/holidays and shift differentials available; potential for full-time or part-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in state of practice
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA)
