Job Summary
Provide patient-centered care in Neonatal ICU using the nursing process, coordinating with other departments to ensure high-quality care while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Responsibilities include evaluating care effectiveness, supervising direct care givers as needed, and ensuring adherence to certification requirements (BLS) and licensure regulations. PRN position with hospital-based nursing duties in a neonatal unit at Mercy Hospital, Newcastle, OK.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire
Additional Requirements
- Physical requirements: ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
