Job Summary
RN in Neonatal ICU (PRN) providing bedside nursing care using the nursing process, coordinating patient care with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and ensuring quality care in Mercy Hospital's NICU. Requires graduation from an accredited RN program, current RN license (state or compact), and BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire). Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing; flexibility to work as-needed in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support certification (or successful completion within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to push, pull, lift 50 pounds, prolonged standing/walking, and dynamic physical tasks
