Job Summary
RN in Neonatal ICU at Mercy Hospital (PRN). Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, maintains professional accountability, evaluates the care provided by direct care staff, coordinates patient care with other departments, and upholds patient rights and confidentiality. Requires RN licensure in the hiring state or compact licensure, and Basic Life Support certification (or completion within 30 days). PRN, as-needed scheduling; benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, tuition support, and retirement plans for eligible staff.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Licensure: Active RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or will complete within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking; bend/kneel/twist/squat as needed
- Nursing duties include utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, coordinating patient care with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality
- Experience in Neonatal ICU nursing would be applicable
- Must meet state board of nursing requirements for licensure
