Job Summary
Interpret medical care plans, assess patients, and provide individualized nursing care for NICU and pediatric patients. Administer medications, monitor for reactions, and record vital signs while reporting symptom changes. Consult with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans, modifying treatment as needed. Maintain accurate reports and records of patient information. Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, BLS certification, and ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications. Night shift rotation with a $5,000 sign-on bonus available for full-time and part-time roles.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree Nursing
- Registered Nurse [RN - State License]
- Basic Life Support [BLS Certification]
- Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year
- Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment
- Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
