Job Summary
RN - NICU - Nights at Ochsner Baptist leads and coordinates nursing care for neonatal patients using the nursing process; delegates to licensed and ancillary team members; assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes; adheres to the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice; provides teaching and supports professional responsibilities within an interdisciplinary team; requires RN license and BLS certification; demonstrates effective communication and organizational skills in a patient-care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
