Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the NICU utilizing the nursing process, prioritizing patient wellness and evidence-based practice within a multidisciplinary team. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and welcome new knowledge in this fast-paced clinical environment to contribute to safety and quality at the point of care. Complete 6 months of Women and Infants nursing experience or the UCHealth Fellowship program, maintaining current BLS certification. Join the Night Shift Incentive Program earning $1,600 quarterly, with full-time hours and onsite location at UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
