Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor vital signs for newborns in the NICU. Manage feeding needs, including tube and breast milk support, while performing procedures like IV line insertion and assisting with intubation or ventilation. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and National Patient Safety Goals. Respond to medical emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions as appropriate. Maintain regular attendance and document all patient care and education thoroughly. Requires 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience, RN licensure, BCLS, and ACLS certification. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
- BCLS - Basic Life Support

- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
