Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Metro Denver NICU Enterprise Float Pool, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Prioritize patient wellness within a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new nurses and welcoming new knowledge in this fast-paced clinical environment. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care while adhering to AWHONN and AACN standards. This onsite night shift position requires state licensure, relevant certifications, and six months of Women and Infants nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
