Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Metro Denver NICU float pool, utilizing the nursing process and a multidisciplinary team approach. Prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and safety while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Maintain NRP certification and BLS/CPR within sixty days of hire, ensuring all clinical competencies align with AWHONN and AACN standards. Work nights in an onsite environment at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, contributing to exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
