Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Metro Denver NICU float pool, utilizing the nursing process and a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritize patient wellness and evidence-based practice while modeling proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care within a fast-paced clinical environment. This onsite night shift role requires a Registered Nurse with at least six months of Women and Infants nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program, plus current NRP and BLS/CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
