Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Denver NICU Enterprise Float Pool, utilizing the nursing process and a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and safety at the point of care while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Contribute to secure quality standards within the Women's Care and Infants units, including Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, and NICU. Requires state RN licensure, six months of women and infants nursing experience, NRP certification, and current BLS/CPR. Full-time day and night rotation with a 3-year incentive bonus and comprehensive total rewards program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
