Job Summary
RN NICU Float Pool position responsible for direct patient care in a fast-paced NICU environment, applying the nursing process and providing top-of-scope care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The role supports Women and Infants care within units such as Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery Birth Center, and NICU, and involves precepting new staff or learners. The position requires staying current with standards from AWHONN and AACN, including practice standards like RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP, and CCRN as applicable. It is an onsite role with Day/Night rotation and a schedule of 72 hours per pay period. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS - CPR for the Professional Rescuer (AHA or ARC) with card in-hand before start date
- BLS/ CPR card valid through sixty days after hire
- onsite role with no hybrid/remote option
