Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Denver NICU Enterprise Float Pool, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice within multidisciplinary teams. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Deliver care aligned with AWHONN and AACN standards across Women's Care and Infants units, including Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, and NICU. Maintain required certifications such as NRP, BLS, and CCRN, ensuring all cards are current through the hire date. Work full-time day and night rotations at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
