Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Neonatal ICU, implementing and monitoring patient care plans while communicating patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. This Night shift, Part Time position at Ascension Saint Thomas in Murfreesboro, TN, requires a Licensed Registered Nurse with BLS, S.T.A.B.L.E, and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition 'Compact State'
- Registered Nurse
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
