Job Summary
Presbyterian Hospital is offering a year-long Transition to Practice Nurse Residency for newly graduated nurses in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, NM. Residents will be hired as full-time staff “in training” with full benefits and variable hours across multiple sites (including Presbyterian Hospital, Kaseman, Rust Medical Center, PRESNow locations, and Santa Fe Medical Center) and units such as Critical Care, Emergency Department, Progressive Care, Medical/Surgical, Family Birthing/Mother-Baby, Pediatric Care, Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, Inpatient Hematology/Oncology, and Operating Room. Eligible candidates must have a NM RN license and an associate degree in nursing or higher (BSN preferred); BLS is required at hire. The program provides continuing education credits and development opportunities; sign-on and relocation bonuses are available. Educational and certification reimbursement, loan forgiveness, malpractice coverage, and access to care and wellness programs are offered to Presbyterian employees.
Required Qualifications
- Current New Mexico RN license
- Associate degree in nursing or higher (BSN preferred)
- BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
