Job Summary
Presbyterian Hospital is offering a year-long Transition to Practice Nurse Residency program for new graduates, with full-time employment in training across multiple hospital units (Critical Care, Emergency, Progressive Care, Medical/Surgical, Family Birthing, Pediatric Care, NICU, OR, and more) at Presbyterian facilities in Albuquerque, NM and Rio Rancho, NM. Residents will gain continuing education credits and complete the program with full benefits; program participants must have an NM RN license and an associate degree in nursing or higher (BSN preferred). Differentials for night/weekend shifts, loan/tuition assistance, scholarship opportunities, malpractice insurance, and sign-on/relocation bonuses are available; hours are variable and on-site at various locations. A one-year residency with ongoing development and certification opportunities is included, along with access to EPIC electronic charting and a safety wearable device for staff. Required Qualifications
- Current New Mexico RN license
- Associate degree in nursing or higher (BSN preferred)
- BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
