Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans for complex neurologic patients in a 6:1 ratio. Evaluate progress toward expected outcomes and prioritize care according to Evidence-Based Practice Standards. Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to manage the unit, delegating tasks to appropriate healthcare members. Document care consistently while maintaining a clean, safe environment and practicing effective problem identification. Serve as a preceptor, charge nurse, and unit educator to support new team members and students. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and attend staff development meetings to support continuous improvement.
