Job Summary

Conduct patient and family-centered care in a 17-bed ICU for neurosurgery, neuro-medical, and stroke populations, managing conditions including subarachnoid hemorrhage, aneurysms, microvascular decompression, and tumor resection. Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing consistent with the Oregon Nurse Practice Act and the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice. Maintain a culture of safety through collaborative decision-making and inter-professional teamwork while navigating rapid access to 24-hour CT, MRI, OR, and interventional radiology services. Requires one year of critical care experience, an accredited nursing degree, and current Oregon RN licensure.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-year of Critical Care experience
  • Associate or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a program accredited by Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA)
  • Associate Degree Nurses required to enroll in BSN program within 3 years of hire and complete within 5 years of hire
  • Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License
  • BLS and ACLS from AHA
  • Able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
