RN - Neuro Trama Intermediate

Provide patient care using the nursing process in the 6D Neuro Trauma Intermediate PCU, a 16-bed, high-acuity unit that cares for critically ill post-operative traumas, stroke patients, and medical overflow. Coordinate patient care with other departments; maintain patient rights and confidentiality. Unit includes therapies such as lumbar drain management, external ventricular drain management, vasopressors, Bipap and high-flow oxygen, insulin drips, and precedex. Opportunities to cross-train with Cardiovascular PCU and potential transition into ICU units through an 18-month career path program.
