Perform routine physical and psychosocial assessments to collect basic data, following written plans of care and practice guidelines. Formulate individualized plans of care for patient and population needs, including transitional health care options. Adapt educational programs for patients and families by modifying teaching strategies during care delivery. Ensure efficiency in care delivery to determine immediate priorities and make independent clinical decisions based on education and experience. Actively advocate for patient rights and identify potential conflicts, seeking counsel for resolution. Requires Associate of Arts in nursing, one year recent hospital experience, and certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
