Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols for a 20-bed Neuro Med Surg unit and an additional 5-bed Rehab unit. Systematically evaluate patient quality of care, develop and implement individualized plans of care using the nursing process, and collect assessment data to determine diagnoses and expected outcomes. Coordinate with the inter-professional team, patient, and family to facilitate care plans, participate in collaborative decision-making, and educate patients on health promotion and comfort measures. Serve as a mentor and role model while maintaining a constant state of alertness. Perform point of care testing and other duties as assigned. Work night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. with a sign-on bonus eligible.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
