Job Summary
Administer medications within scope of practice while assessing, evaluating, and documenting patients' physical and mental status. Establish rapport with patients and families to resolve care requirements, promote independence through education on conditions and self-care, and ensure quality outcomes by adhering to therapeutic standards and hospital protocols. Maintain a safe environment, protect patient confidentiality in electronic records, and contribute to team goals measured by Press Ganey, AIDET, and Model of Care metrics. Complete annual competency education and maintain professional knowledge through workshops and publications. Requires ACLS and BLS certification; Bachelor's degree preferred. - College Diploma Nursing
- Certified Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation
- BLS
- ED/ICU Requirement
- ACLS
- MED SURG AREAS

- Thorough knowledge of a variety of medical equipment
- Ability to administer medications per policy and procedure
- Ability to follow the National Patient Safety Goals
- Ability to interpret lab and diagnostic results as it relates to patients status
- Ability to communicate with all disciplines using SBAR
- Ability to multi-task
