Job Summary
Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Function within organizational policies; maintain standards of practice; coordinate patient-care activities of assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care. Requires RN licensure in Georgia (or NLC/eNCL multistate), BCLS; ACLS/PALS/other unit-specific certifications within specified timelines. Training may include unit-specific certifications (e.g., NICU, ED, dialysis, infusion/oncology, maternal-child) within orientation periods. Education: graduation from an accredited nursing program (Bachelor’s preferred). No experience required; new graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred for certain roles.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse Georgia licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure (Required)
- Current BCLS (Required)
- ACLS Certification (within 180 days for certain units)
- PALS/PEARS where applicable (as specified)
- Piedmont Augusta Hospital – location-specific Addenda certifications as noted
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- New graduates eligible for PRN positions
- Hospital nursing experience preferred
