RN Neuro Critical Care

Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Neuro Critical Care unit, collaborating with medical providers to perform procedures and monitor patients as ordered. Assess, perform, teach, and manage individualized care plans while documenting administration of care in the medical record. Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and lifestyle changes to promote recovery and self-management. Manage evidence-based practices and continuous process improvement initiatives to meet quality measures and enhance departmental performance. Obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Cardiac Life Support, and NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of employment.
