Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients with stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, seizures, and hydrocephalus in a 14-bed Neuro ICU. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients while partnering with the family to develop teaching strategies and document education. Work alongside nurse techs, intensivists, and therapists to deliver specialized care within the Comprehensive Stroke Center. Shifts run 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with variable weekend frequency.
Required Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing
- Bachelors in Nursing
- MI Registered Nurse (RN)
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS)
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months RN experience
