Job Summary
Conduct night shift neuro care duties including administering medications, managing IV lines, and performing diagnostic tests while documenting patient observations and multi-systems monitoring data. Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based care plans that address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, collaborating with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and families to ensure continuity of care. Precept new hire staff and students to enhance competency skills and support clinical knowledge advancement. Requires 1+ year of RN experience, BLS certification, and a BSN within 60 months of hire; night shift rotation applies.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years experience
- 1 year RN experience for all Float Positions
- Required Associates or Diploma in Nursing
- All Diploma and ADN hires must Complete a BSN within 60 months of hire OR have 5 or more years of Registered Nurse experience (including direct patient care or indirect RN roles) at the time of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification
- Certification in BLS training course C
- unit specific certification as required by specialty area DOP
- Registered Nurse (RN) - License
- State And/or Compact State Licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Arizona Upon Hire
- National certification for unit specific patient population
