Job Summary
Perform the nursing process using evidence-based practice to deliver individualized, relationship-based care to neuro acute and spine patients. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and documentation while partnering with patients and families to set and update care goals. Lead performance improvement initiatives, research utilization, and shared governance activities to promote safe, quality patient outcomes. Mentor preceptors and staff, complete mandatory competency assessments, and develop protocols to reduce re-admissions and adverse events. Requires 2 years of neuro/spine experience, RN license, BLS/ACLS, and Epic/3M proficiency. Night shift at Wellstar Health System in Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
- Minimum 2 years current experience in specified area of practice
- Computer/data entry experience
- Epic and 3M experience
