Job Summary
The Registered Nurse provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) and collaborates with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care. The role may involve serving as charge nurse and delegating tasks to licensed or unlicensed personnel. Practices within the Nurse Practice Act and applicable standards, ensures safe, reliable administration of resident care, and supports resident education and care coordination across preventative, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Applies age/population-specific standards and may require licensure in the practicing state(s). Evening, part-time shifts with opportunities for advancement and benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state or states of practice
- Attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience or have a minimum of 400 hours of RN (or LPN) experience at another facility
- Licensure may be required for nursing practice over the telephone depending on patients’ residence
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred (not required)
