Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement interventions across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary providers to plan and evaluate care while serving as charge nurse when needed to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel. Ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of service concerns within the full scope of nursing expertise and state licensure standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum
- Must have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as a RN (or LPN) at another facility
- Requires current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state, or states, of practice
- Certification may be required depending on specialty or service area
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred
