Assess patients through obtaining history, performing tests, and observing clinical changes. Communicate with providers, educate patients on test results, new care plans, and medication regimens. Demonstrate sound clinical judgment when triaging sick patients on the phone and in the waiting room. Safely administer medications, tests, and treatments as ordered. Teach patients and families health care regimens while explaining disease, wellness, diet, and exercise aspects of the plan of care.
