Job Summary
RN liaison in CV prep/recovery coordinates with cardiovascular services and physicians to meet informational needs of patients and families undergoing cardiac procedures or surgery; communicates progress and provides comfort care, leads the scheduling of CV procedures/tests, performs efficient clerical duties, ensures schedules align with appointment build forms and physician orders, coordinates meetings with physicians/office staff as needed, and collaborates with vendors for clinical support; requires an active RN license (Missouri or compact), BLS, ACLS within specified timeframes, and at least one year of relevant cardiac procedural experience; no travel.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license from Missouri Division of Professional Registration or an active compact license
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS required upon hire
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS required within 6 months of hire
- One year of cardiac telemetry, EP lab, Cath lab, procedural or surgical prep and recovery or ICU experience preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- RN Diploma
