Job Summary
RN Liaison for CV Prep Recovery leads scheduling of cardiovascular procedures/tests and communicates with patients, families, physicians, and staff to ensure smooth procedural flow. Provides comfort care, utilizes age-appropriate interaction guidelines, maintains confidentiality, handles administrative duties under CV leadership, coordinates meetings with physicians and staff, and collaborates with vendors for clinical support as applicable while supporting the care continuum from pre- to post-care.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license from the Missouri Division of Professional Registration or an active compact license
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS required upon hire
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS required within 6 months of hire
- RN Diploma
- 1 year of cardiac telemetry, EP lab, Cath lab, procedural or surgical prep and recovery or ICU experience preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
