Job Summary
RN MSIC in Neuro/Trauma ICU on a full-time night shift (5p-5a) with every 4th weekend rotation. The role delivers patient-centered care using the nursing process, administers medications, conducts thorough assessments, develops and evaluates care plans, collaborates with physicians and care teams, responds to emergencies (CPR/code team), provides patient/family education, and ensures infection control and safe care. Requires nursing licensure, BCLS, and 0-2 years of acute care experience; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred. The unit is a Neuro and Trauma-focused ICU within a Stroke Center and Level 2 Trauma Center with 34 beds. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, sign-on bonus, 401k match, and PTO/EIB.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse with State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred
