Job Summary
RN - MRMC - Med/Surg/Tele; responsible for the planning, delivery and management of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and adhering to the standards of nursing practice. Major responsibilities include utilization of the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge, comprehensive patient assessment/reassessment, development and coordination of individualized care plans including discharge planning, and directing, supervising, coordinating and evaluating nursing care within the assigned clinical setting. Licensure/Certification requirements include MA nursing licensure, BLS within 30 days, ACLS/PALS in select areas within specified timelines, and NRP for select areas within specified timelines. Preferred: BSN. Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration
- BLS through either American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) is a requirement for every RN within 30 days of hire
- ACLS through American Heart Association (AHA) required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner
- PALS through American Heart Association (AHA) required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner
- NRP Advanced Provider through American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred
