Job Summary
RN at UMass Memorial Health/Milford Regional Medical Center (Milford, MA) providing direct patient care in Med/Surg/Cardiac units using the Nursing Process from admission to discharge. Responsibilities include patient assessment/reassessment, developing and coordinating individual plans of care including discharge planning, directing and evaluating nursing care within the assigned setting, and delegating tasks in accordance with competency. Required licenses/certifications include Massachusetts nursing licensure, BLS (AHA or ARC) within 30 days, ACLS/PALS in select areas within specified timelines, and NRP Advanced Provider in select areas. Preferred: BSN. Commitment to patient care standards and a respectful, diverse workplace ethos are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration
- BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire
- ACLS through AHA required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering
- PALS through AHA required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering
- NRP Advanced Provider through AAP required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering
