Job Summary
Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process for patients across the Float Pool; perform assessments and reassessments per standard procedures; develop and coordinate individualized plans of care including discharge planning; supervise and evaluate nursing care within assigned units; delegate per competency; requires MA nursing licensure and relevant certifications (BLS mandatory; ACLS/PALS/NRP as specified by area); per diem, non-exempt position with varied shifts and holidays; BSN preferred; experienced RN with nursing knowledge and strong patient-care skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration
- BLS through either American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) within 30 days of hire
- ACLS through AHA required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner
- PALS through AHA required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner
- NRP Advanced Provider through AAP required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred
