Job Summary
Endoscopy RN at UMass Memorial Health Milford Regional Medical Center (Massachusetts) with a 30-hour schedule, day shift, on-call. Responsible for planning, delivery, and management of direct patient care using the nursing process; conducts patient assessment/reassessment; develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning; directs and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting; delegates appropriately. Licensure and current MA nursing registration required; BLS required within 30 days of hire; ACLS/PALS/NRP in specified areas within set timeframes; BSN highly preferred. Non-exempt position with a Monday–Friday schedule and 10-hour day shift; potential signing bonus available. This posting emphasizes patient care quality and teamwork across a large health system.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration
- BLS through either American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) within 30 days of hire
- ACLS through American Heart Association (AHA) required in select areas (Gannett, MP1, ICU, ED, Cath Lab, Endo, IR, PACU, Float Pool) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner
- PALS through American Heart Association (AHA) required in select areas (PACU, ED) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner
- NRP Advanced Provider through American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) required in select areas (Maternity) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred
